Dr. Andrew Sorial is a board-certified psychiatrist dedicated to delivering personalized care to people with mental health challenges like depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and post-traumatic stress. Dr. Andrew Sorial does comprehensive psychiatric evaluations on patients, diagnoses their mental health conditions, and develops personalized treatment plans for them to follow.
Dr. Andrew Sorial combines therapeutic interventions with psychopharmacology to support long-term patient well-being. He monitors patients closely after administering care, providing counseling and support and adjusting treatment plans to improve care outcomes. A dedicated professional, he documents all treatment plans and patient progress, complies with health care regulations and ethical standards, and stays informed about psychiatry treatment.
Previously, Dr. Andrew Sorial gained valuable experience at the Miami Veterans Affairs Healthcare System. It was this work with veterans that helped shape his passion for psychiatry. He is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is a fellow of both the American Psychiatric Association and the Florida Psychiatric Society. He is also a published researcher in peer-reviewed medical journals.
Dr. Sorial is a graduate of Ross University School of Medicine. He completed his psychiatric training at Larkin Community Hospital in Miami, where he also served as chair of the Psychiatry Didactics Committee.
